The Girl and the Beast
This one was brought to my attention via email from Bennett. It's a crazy story about a 12 yr old girl who writes to Manuel Noriega during a time in which he was America's most wanted. Now I don't want to spoil the story, but I will say this-the podcast is really powerful. It's a pretty long podcast-so grab a cup of coffee, pull up a comfy chair, and listen to the story unfold.

It's your favorite cousin! SANDI! Well, I just logged on to your blog for the first time...Got kinda of fighten seeing Noriega picture flash up... I will listen to the gripping story when I go home.. right now I am in your Grandmother's house celebrating her 78th b-day...it's the usual RIOS shindig you know how it goes...no riviting conversations, the TV is on...I guess we are silently happy to be with each other..Hey did you here that Ellen Degeneres is hiring a new DJ.. you should send a sample of your music. You never know? That would be a nice gig to have! Well I could go on typing..but that would be rude...Do you think the family notices I am totally ignoring them? Nah I doubt it...
